In-laws moved and baby’s upcoming surgery

My mother in law and father in law sold their home in Maryland so we will get to see them more. Right now they are staying between my husbands sisters house and my husbands uncles house. It will be so nice for the baby to get to see her grandmother more then a few times a year. She had a lot to deal with while moving and I felt really bad for her so I bought her the flowers in the photo to try to give her a little brightness in her day. My oldest daughter has been loving her job at the thrift store. I stop in a few times a week to see her and to see what’s new in the store. The baby turns one this weekend then has surgery a few days later. I am very worried. I don’t think my husband would want me to go into detail about it so I will only say she’s having surgery not what for. We knew when she was a day or two old she would likely need this surgery. My husband I think is very stressed over the surgery as well and has been pretty tough to deal with. I’m just glad this will all be over soon and she will hopefully never need another surgery.

Wow i can't believe your little one is already turning 1 year old. Time certainly does fly. I will keep her (and you) in my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery.

@Marilynda1225 thank you. 2 more days until her surgery. I’m shaking this morning I’m so worried sick. I’m holding her right now while she naps.

Those flowers are beautiful, you are right, it will be nice for your little girl to see her granny more often. I hope everything will go well for your baby and she will need no more surgeries in the future. A big hug from me.

@LadyDuck so far since they moved back we haven’t gotten to see her much because I’m keeping people away from my home for the sake of the baby whose having surgery in two days. If all goes well with the healing of this she shouldn’t need another surgery. This has been a hard year worrying about this surgery so I’m crossing my fingers and praying everything goes well. Two more days now.

@shaggin It is a good idea to keep people away from your home and your baby, she needs to be healthy for the surgery. I am praying that this surgery goes well and your baby does not need another surgery. My best wishes and a big hug.

@LadyDuck thank you so very much. We are leaving tonight for the town her surgery will be in. We will be staying nearby overnight then her surgery is in the morning. I’m waiting on a call for them to know what time. I’m hoping it’s bright and early since she won’t be able to have anything to eat or drink.

@RebeccasFarm I got what the lady at the florist crested for me. I thought she did a nice job. I’m so sad the baby has to have this surgery. We’ve known it for a year but now that it’s so close the sadness I felt in the beginning has come around again. Usually I give her a bottle and get stuff done while she naps but today I just held her for an hour. Most the time baby needs her momma but today I definitely needed cuddles with my baby.

I'm glad your in-laws will be closer so can spend more time with their grandchildren. (I hope you all get along very well.) We all knew the surgery was coming from shortly after her birth. I hope everything goes well and she never needs any more attention like this from the doctors. (Please give her a hug from Uncle Robb. Thank you. )

@Daddyevil yep we have all had a year to prepare. How fast this year flew. Hard to believe my little Angel is 1. She’s currently crawling around the living room so fast. Her version of running she’s going so fast it’s so funny. She giggles when she speeds up like that. I love my husbands mother. While my husbands father is nice to me he is really an awful person and treats his wife horribly.

@shaggin I know... It seems like just a few months ago you were showing us her picture and telling us she'd arrived! I hope she had a happy birthday! Yeah, we talked about your father-in-law before. I'm sorry.

@JudyEv hopefully they are able to find a house soon. The market is so tough right now. They are bouncing between staying at two different peoples homes until then. Must be frustrating.

@toniganzon thank you very much. It’s a small risk a hole will develop. They may or may not be able to fix it if that happens and if they can it won’t be for quite some time probably as she grows and sees if it causes problems or something I’m not sure exactly.

It's great that she's been able to wait this long before having whatever surgery or is. One of my nephew's boys had to have several surgeries before he ever left the hospital but he made it through all of them. I'll try to remember to keep her in my prayers.

@Marshamusselman they like to do the surgery around 9 months but she was too small at 3 months so they knew she wouldn’t be ready for it so they scheduled it for 1 year. Today is her birthday and Tuesday is her surgery. I’m getting so depressed.
