Last night my husband didn't get home until late. If you read my daily post you'll have seen that and that I was going to put up the reason.
Well here's the reason and it even made the channel 2 Nashville news.
There was a hay fire at my husband's job at Mid Tn in Nashville yesterday afternoon.
If you can believe it, it started just before he was supposed to get off work but once the fire started and the fire department came, the place is so small they blocked everyone in.
No one was hurt and the department was quick to respond. A friend that he works with had to go help lol.
Borrowed my husband's bunker jacket and joined the fray.
Looking at it this morning he's got a mess to clean up but thankful it wasn't worse.
You can find it on Facebook, channel 2 news Nashville but that story is about as short as mine because really it wasn't as big of a deal as some of the others that Nashville fights.
I'm not even sure why the news was there in the first place but it was and here we are lol.
*picture from google and I'm pretty sure that google got it from channel 2.

It could have been but I have faith in both our friend and my husband along with the Nashville department to put it out. It's what we all train for :)

It was good, no one hurt or injured. I hope this will never again.

@yanzalong The guy's exhaust, heated up the hay to the point of combustion.

Fires are so scary. Nashville had that bad fire a few years back too.

Yeah. We weren't in Nashville for that or we probably would have helped. Found out that day that we can cross that jurisdiction apparently.

@sweerie_banana Something about the truck's exhaust was too hot and some of the hay that was on the truck was too close too it.

That’s good to know that no one got hurt. I always pray that we would never experience such kind of thing, especially in our home.

@JordanLader i have learned from a fireman that in cases of fire, in most cases, the victims die from smoke before they even get burned. But not all the time.

@toniganzon The last fatality by fire I believe we had was a friend of our departments. Found out it was his son that set the fire. The man passed in his bedroom trying to get out. Smoke got to him, the fire never touched up there
