I picked up the paper this morning and read all the daily blues. The world is one big tragedy.
Except for two things. Which are nonblue excellent pieces of news.
The first one concerns Tony Dow. It was reported earlier that he had died but that was an error. Don't get too excited, because he is very near the end and the next announcement will very likely be accurate.
It could come at any minute or it might take a few days but it hasn't happened yet. If he's a piece of your childhood, even if it was only through reruns, you still have him for a little while yet.
The second piece of good news concerns everyone's favorite Criminal Cult Leader, my friend, Donny Trump. It is official now: He is under at least one Criminal Investigation.
Most of us have known for a very long time that he must be under at least one but it's nice that it can no longer be dismissed as speculation.
How many more are there?
He is likely a target of prosecutors in Georgia and there are an additional million or so that seem inevitable...Well, they would be if Dems weren't so weak and ineffective.
But at least we have one confirmed Criminal Investigation now that we can hang our hats on. We aren't going to dwell on the enormous disappointing negatives that might be in our immediate future. Not tonight.
Lord, Lord, Lord. We got nothing but trouble. The world is in an uproar and I see no end in sight. But I'm not gonna let it bother me tonight.
Tomorrow I might go as far as suicide. But I will not let it bother me tonight.
So bartender, pour me a double, right now.
Champagne for everyone!
Special thanks to Perry Carlton "Buddy" Buie, Robert Nix and Dean Daughtry for helping out with this one.
((Some of you are wondering why "I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight" (The Atlanta Rhythm Section, 1978) isn't the Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Song For Today. I don't have an answer. All I can say is, "It should have been."))

A lot of us have been expecting him to move to Brazil or Russia for years now.

@xander6464 Why not to North Korea? He said that he and the crazy dictator are the biggest friends.

@LadyDuck That would be a good choice for him, too.

So the case would mean that Donald Trump would have to shed some of his wealth.
May be he can allot a few Apartments in the Trump Towers in Pune and Gurugram in India!!
An Attorney of Indian origin can settle for that.
Anyways, such cases can have lawyers dragging the cases for years and making a lot of money.
Plus are the various witness safe in such cases or under allurement or threat?
That could be something to be seen.
Is Tony Dow a public celebrity?

It is going to be costly for Donny but his big worry is that he well might go to prison. His family, too.
Tony Dow was on a TV show called Leave It To Beaver (1957-1963). He played Wally, Beaver's older brother. He has cancer and is in hospice care at home. He doesn't have much time left.

Your friend will walk away without spending a day in jail/prison or costing him a penny--no fines!
