I met with Social Worker on Home Care today

Well the day I have been waiting for. Except I won't know till next month if I am approved for help. The ER doctor filled at my request for help , she briefly interviewed me and said if approved I find my own help. I know no one. Where do I start if approved? I am thinking I should be approved as a stroke patient I need help. So for now I still have no help. I am trying not to get frustrated.
