My lunch for Wednesday is fried egg on tomatoes

Hmm... I don't usually put tomatoes in with fried eggs. I usually put ground beef or ground pork in with onions in fried eggs. I usually don't eat lunch because I'm asleep when people eat lunch. I eat before I go to sleep in the morning and again when I wake up in the late afternoon. (I ate some of the Shepherd's Pie before I went to sleep and some beef stew before I came onto myLot this evening.)

Why not eating lunch at the kitchen table?

I'm a little late to the party here, but my usual lunch is silog. Rice, eggs and a fried viand like ham, longganisa or luncheon meat on the side. Fills me up every time!

It is lunchtime here now, but I don't know what I am going to eat. Are the eggs scrambled with chopped tomatoes? That sounds really good. There is a dish I really love from the Philippines with chicken and noodles (and probably other ingredients that I don't know), I think it's called something like phan shin. I know this dish because I not only have a friend from the Philippines, but my daughter went there one year and her ex-boyfriend's mom is Pilipino. So she got the recipe and whenever she has a party, she invites her Pilipino friends who bring delicious food. So what genre is your book? I have written some and one short story is published, but this was many years ago. I would like to edit that short story and republish and then edit my other books to publish. However, I am no longer motivated to edit. I love writing, but hate editing.

I haven't thought about lunch yet, just finished breakfast maybe an hour ago. Maybe I will have a piece or two of chicken.

Tomato omelette? Once in a while I eat something like this but I like the tomatoes chopped fine and not too much, I also like it with finely minced raw onions I had chicken " tinola" for lunch

That goes very well together egg and tomato. I like eggs with mushrooms, tomatoe, onion and green pepper too. For lunch I usually just have a half a can of tuna.

Tomatoes and eggs go great together. I had a salad for lunch today.

For me that is a meal I'd probably eat more at breakfast. I love eggs for breakfast.
