Do mosquitoes really bite?

Working in the garden and its vicinity has become a nightmare for me recently. It being the rainy season it's damp everywhere. It is the most suitable condition for mosquitoes to breed and multiply. As soon as I go anywhere near their domain they come in hordes and begin their " kissing" campaign on my skin.
You would hear more people speak of mosquito bites. But do these singing creatures really bite. Researchers tell that they don't really bite. They inject their saliva into our tissues, which causes swells on our skin, which in turn itch. In fact, they pierce six needles into our body and one of them a prosbocis reaches our blood vessel and sucks the blood.
Whatever may be the mechanism of mosquito " bite" they are definitely painful and in many cases harmful, as they can give us malaria, dengue, zika parasites and who knows what they are capable of spreading among humankind.

We are so used to phrases like "I got bitten by a mosquito", we don't give them a second thought, even if it is scientifically impossible. But when you consider the alternative that is more factual, "I got suckled by a mosquito"...people might think you are a pervert or degenerate.

That is definitely what I'd think if someone said they got suckled by a mosquito!

I try not to go to the grass and rarely go to the park, so I won't be bitten by mosquitoes. I spend most of my time at home or in the office of the company. When I sleep at home, I put the mosquito repellent incense in the mosquito repellent incense container and plug in the electricity.

I hate mosquitos. We have a problem with them here. I try to keep citronella burning when I am outside. Whether they bite or inject, they are evil pests that cause great pain and discomfort. I must keep them away from me.

Mosquitoes are irritating and may cause harm to the body. I often use an electronic expeller in summer.

If any creature uses his/her mouth on me, and it hurts, then they are definitely biting me and deserve the fate I deal out to them. (I didn't like it when my girlfriend bit me for fun. To me, that isn't "fun".)
Mosquitoes used to like me a lot. But after the doctor diagnosed me with hyperthyroidism and I started taking meds for that, mosquitoes don't bother me anymore. I'm very happy about that.
