Homeschool Fun

The summer, for me, has been busier than the school year. I kept some of my students throughout the summer. We did summer programs. Another one of my students came once a week, just because she missed us and wanted to spend time with us. So this summer has been full of activity. A couple of my little guys love exploring in the woods. They were tough and inquisitive. My dog, Turbo, always had to join us. Our new school year starts in September, and I think I am going to plan more outdoor activities since it sparks the kids imagination and inquisitive nature. Any homeschoolers who have ideas for outdoor learning activities?

I used to tell my kids to listen to the sounds of nature and look at the world around them.

That could be used to teach music and science. Great idea

@gnatsmom We used to catch some bugs in glass jars with holes in the lid and turn them loss when we were done talking about them.
