Closure in a relationship

Last 2019, an ex confided to my best friend that he did not get closure in our relationship. Honestly, when i broke up with him I know nothing about that closure phase so it is quite bothering me now. My goodness, our relationship ended decades ago!

What about contacting him through your friend ? Sometimes we don't know why we end our relationship it could be our ego, anger or lack of mutual understanding or perhaps young to understand... so on

Why did you break up without talking to your ex? That's bothering you now but you have to forget that and go ahead in life.

Is it possible to get closure at this time? Maybe have a nice chat as friends? If it’s not then I suggest to just try and get it out of your mind.
