Lost

Chase was adopted by my mom a few months back ago and he became her baby. He looks so lost without her now that I don't know what to do about it. I've been through this before with my Dad's dogs back in 2010, but how do you help a cat get through grieving? I have no idea. I feel so bad. ??

@MALUSE I was looking for something, It was strange my two kittens were kind of upset after their mom gave birth to five more kittens, Michelle was the most affected by this, and I guess she did a kind of grieving for her mom's attention, I took her in my arms, and I held her, and I swear as I cradled her and talked to her she shed some tears, Oddest thing ever but now she is over it and does not stay near her mom as much as she did,

Just try to comfort them as best you can. It's a hard time for the both of you. Don't be afraid to talk to him as if he were human. Remind him, he is loved. If you have something with her sent on it, give it to him as a comfort item.

Just try to be there for him, maybe he will take a liking to you now that your mom isn't there. My condolences to you and him for your loss.

I am sorry for your mom, my condolences. May be Chase will get the habit to stay with you, just give him a little time.
