An Only Child

A few days ago I saw this two birds seating side by side together on a rooftop.I was simply observing them and I was curious to see why were they seating together.I assume that they were lovers but later on I saw that a third bird came by and started feeding them by regurgitation.Then the answer came to me that the two birds was actually siblings like brother and sister but I couldn't tell which was male or a female in this scenario or the fact that which one was younger or older. I only established that the mother which was bigger and seem to be feeding them.
I always wanted a sibling in my life but I never did get one. I don't have any sibling and I never know what it's like to have to have such a thing as sibling rivalry or having someone to look up to or even having someone to play with when I was a little kid with.
Do you have any siblings in your life and what kind of relationship do you have with your siblings?

I was next-to-the-youngest out of 16 living children. Having siblings can be good sometimes and can be bad sometimes. (You know about the brother who ruined two foods for me.) I am getting older now and most of my siblings are gone. There are four boys and two girls still living. I only see one brother and one sister anymore. *shrug* Life happens to us all.

Most people I know in my life have less than 5 here and yes I do know about your two brother story you previously mentioned.I'm sorry to hear about your older siblings that are gone. I heard from one of my friend that she and her siblings always have sibling rivalry and never seem to get along in her case.In my case I always wanted a younger brother or sister.

@sica98 I understand... My youngest brother and I were best friends growing up but grew apart after I got married. I rarely saw him after that.

I have a sister six years younger than me and a brother twelve years younger than me. We're okay with each other, but we're not close even though they live near me.

I have one elder sister and two elder brothers. My elder sister passed a few years ago. We have a very close relationship during all these years.

I only have a sister, being both girl make us gossip together, fight together, sharing clothes... sometimes get tired of her, but it nice having siblings, once we fight and i wish i was an only child, but imagine not seeing her and being alone are so sad! Seeing her annoyed face while i messing up with her is my favorite

I have a sister, and she is there for me in a pinch and likewise, but she never needs me for anything it seems. We used to be close, but not anymore it seems. She doesn't seem to be interested in that.
