In fact my local food is not spicy. But there are many kinds of restaurants available and some are from other provinces. And the food can be very spicy. We tried it as you can see from the image. There are many peppers covered the food

If the first bite burns my mouth, then it's not getting swallowed!

I can't eat too spicy. A few years ago, my Japanese friend visited Hong Kong. She ate very spicy food. We've ordered a chicken dish. Similar to your image of the food, many peppers covered the chicken.

I love spicy foods but my doctor advised me not to eat much. I have heartburn and acid reflux and spicy food triggers my illness. So sad.

Some provinces in my country can eat quite spicy food. In fact it seems they need to eat spicy food everyday. It is a kind of habit.

For me, hot and spicy just ruins the taste of food and all I can taste is the hot and spicy and not the food. So, I don't eat it. I prefer the taste of my food. lol Plus, I have no desire to have my mouth be on fire.

Peppers may be cheap there thats why they spray so much pepper on the food.

I don't think peppers are very cheap. The normal fresh peppers cost nearly a dollor for 500g.
