Brunch today, hamburger wontons - how is your day going

It rained last night here as well. And that weather is cooler today. It is already 8:45 am as I write this and I feel the cool breeze.

@DaddyEvil that felt sooo nice, really. It did not go down that low here. It stayed at 21C (70F)

@jobelbojel When it started raining here, the temp was 95F (35C) and the temp dropped to 70F (21C) in less than two hours and ended up at 6 am at 60F (15C). It felt soooo nice!

@oahuwriter Oh my - from the 19th - at this point I don't even remember. Tonight we will have some chicken quarters, mashed potato - and maybe a simple salad. Your vegetable dinner sounds healthy!

Yes, wontons so good, and gone quickly! So, what did you have for dinner? This evening, my cooked vegetables of bitter melon, lotus roots and Japanese radish.

@1creekgirl It's a lot of cooking. Adding your own tweeks to filling, getting your ground beef ready seasoning it night before adding my vegetables day of frying, like: For a pound of ground beef: Dice: Green bell peppers Round onions Celery Water chestnuts or thin slices lotus roots Sprinkles of the parsley flakes I don't put thick filling in my wonton shells so hamburger mix fries up about 3-5 min on one side. Taste test first few to see if seasoning is right. I seal up my wontons sides by painting it with water with back of spoon. I believe sealing wonton sides with liquid oil is better, but haven't tried it yet. Wonton shells come in different sizes as well as from different companies. Checking others recipes on the internet, too giving you a good look into prep & cooking wontons, is fun and will give you a clearer picture too of prep & cooking. Once cooked, a dipping sauce choice, all yours or plain is fine too. Bon appetit!

Yes, often on sale too at local markets. I miss their small Pkg of snack. Maebo's Wonton Chips still good. My hamburger wontons, homemade, is a favorite of mine.
