IS 60 the NEW 30?

Have you ever wanted to go back in time with your age? When I was in my 30's it was
different for myself I actually wanted to turn 40 so bad. Then I turned 41 and my god I
definitely wanted to change my mind. I think if 60 is the new 30 well that would
make me
20 or earlier and if that is the case oh my lol If I was 20 again I have no idea what I
would do? What would you do if you went back in time? If you were married in your
older age and you went back in time would you still want to get married? Would you
choose the same career? I don't know ? I would probably still get married but
maybe not as young as I did. The career I would not have waited so long to
achieve. Then maybe I would not have had so many careers in my 41 years of life.
So do you wish you were younger? I guess I will just stay in my early 40's and age
with grace and like a fine wine! No sense in wishing I am something I am not.
This whole 30 is the new 60 or whatever age it is , I think is complete BS
Oh and don't go fill your cracks and wrinkles with Botox , love yourself people !
There is only one of you!

That's cool, I am hoping my 40's will get better lol so far not the greatest but I keep trying lol that's great that you wouldn't want to change to many things as it means you have been living a pretty great life

I was fine until I hit 50 yrs old. My body and physical state stayed very good even now at 66, just some minor illness.
But mentally..I was drained by 50 yrs and so on.

I wonder if that is a lady thing because I already feel that way at 41 but I am a natural insomniac so most of the time I feel drained these days if I don't sleep well. I am glad to hear though that you have a good physical state, hopefully the mental part gets better for you. I know that can weigh heavy on persons mind and make days difficult, so I wish you well

lol. Well put and true. Except when I was in my 30s I never wanted to be in my 40s, and now in my 40s I don't want to be in my 50s. But I will be 50 next year. I'd go back in a heartbeat—maybe 25? Of course I can't do that. But I'm going to agree with you and say 60 is NOT the new 30. If I feel like I do now at 49, I can't imagine what 60 would be, and it sure in the hell isn't anything like I felt when I was 30. lol

You know what I think I would go back to being 25 but just 25 because I loved being 25 lol . I wasn't 20 and I wasn't 30 yet lol I think why I wanted to be 40 was because my 30's seemed to last forever and I was just getting bored of it but now that I am 41 eeek !!! I don't think you have nothing to worry about being 50 I think that is a great age because you are distinguished passed being a young adult and the 40s thing and your still not old so there you go you will be just fine at 50!! And if you want you can just stay 50 and forget the 50's part haha !!!

oh that is to bad. Art school would have been cool. I am an artist but self taught. I paint with acrylics and have sold a bunch over the years too, now it's mostly a hobby

Aging has been a major setback for us human beings. we tend to cling to our achievements, but wish to dump all our failures. Yet, we can not deny that ever, burning, compelling desire to remain forever young.
So, sometimes we forget to remember that there is value and meaning to who we have become. Good to see that you love your success.

I think people should look at failures more as a lesson then a bad thing really. I try to love my success but sometimes I lack in confidence but I work on that every day
