My mother made lunch and asked me to call my father for lunch. He was on the street talking to an acquaintance of his. When we are at home, we like to have our meals together. During this time we talked and exchanged opinions. The advantage is that my parents are not used to technology. They don't use the internet and have no interest in it to be honest.

That's true. It's very unpleasant when you're at the table with someone and they don't show the slightest interest in you. I don't tolerate it anymore. Either I eat alone or I leave depending on where I am.

I think the internet makes you waste time on stupid things sometimes. That's why it's important to use it for a good purpose.

It is very important to have a healthy balance between internet and personal life. I know how to separate things and I don't let the internet harm my interpersonal relationships.

I am in favor of the internet as a means of work, ease of life and healthy entertainment. But people who spend more time offline have better energy and mental health.

To me, it seems that it's now almost imperative to be online. There seems to be more and more transactions that can only be done online. I don't like but that's the way the world seems to be evolving.
