Something to share with you all that I bet you all did not know about kool aid it has been out since 1927 and it is 95 years old. I drank a lot of it when I was a kid my mom even made popcicles with it for me and my sisters.

I wasn't aware it was first produced that long ago but I made popsicles from it when Pretty was a kid.

@Tina30219 Since Pretty ate them, I let her pick the flavors, too. Did your mom get the plastic popsicle makers from Kool-aid? I ordered those. I have no idea where they went, though.

I had no idea that it had been around that long. It was in our house, but I thought that we added our own sugar?? Maybe I'm thinking of a different drink made in the fifties??

Growing up in a home with seven kids, we couldn't afford soft drinks, and kool-aid was a real treat for us. Mom made kool-aid popsicles for us too.

I still use the unsweetened packs to make lemonade. I add sugar and sometimes some orange juice to it.

I didn't realize that Kool Aid was that old. I remember drinking it as a kid too and always like the logo of the cold pitcher with the smiley face

My brothers and I begged our mom to buy it. She did only once. We drew that smiley face on it that we saw in commercials.

It was also made in Hastings, Nebraska. Which is cool as someone who lives in that state.

My grandma used to make kool aid, every time us kids came to visit. I remember loving the cherry and grape flavors.
