The BATMAN-documentary ''Vigilante'' (on Tubi) was Sadly Lacking

Tubi's an amazing service, but VIGILANTE (the BATMAN-documentary ... funny, because they're ALSO streaming a movie (or two) named "Vigilante")---maybe it "bit off more than it could chew." Because it purports to be "A deep dive into the eight-decade multimedia universe of comic books, TV series, and blockbuster movies, all inspired by a single superhero character." But it failed to mention BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES (odd, because it mentioned SOME facts about Harley Quinn (sadly leaving out 'the fact' that she was introduced IN BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES) and it brought up the argument of who 'the best The Joker is,' which HAS to be Mark Hamill's portrayal in BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES!) This purported 'deep dive' ALSO left out the series GOTHAM, which--tho it did had to tread lightly over a few copyright landmines so it could deny that it's about that Bruce Wayne, that Alfred, that Detective/Commissioner Gordon, etc.--kept a lot of the Batman mythos alive. Tubi's VIGILANTE also left out BATMAN BEYOND, the BATMAN-character in THE LEGO MOVIE, BATWOMAN, and (I think) THE BATMAN (with Robert Pattinson); but they DO tell us a lot about the early comic books' struggles. But then they go & mention movies that don't really feature BATMAN (movies like CATWOMAN, JOKER, SUICIDE SQUAD ...) You can probably watch it for FREE. https://tubitv.com/movies/621968/vigilante
