Is death something to be afraid of?

Our body was never meant to function forever.
Your heart stops beating soon.
Blood will run out.
Lungs will take its final gasp of breath.
Yes you can afford expensive wellness programs. Hire the best doctor money can buy. Plastic surgery, kidney and heart transplant ( i am still waiting for soul donation and transplant), or you can have your body attached to some machine forever.
The fact is death is certain and time does not delay its arrival.
Death can be unjust. Death can be cruel. Death can be unfair.
But remember that death lets us appreciate life.
Death reminds us that time on this mud ball called earth is ticking.
For that we can appreciate life.
For that we ask for guidance of a Supreme Being.
For that we can have the best reason to do good on our love ones and be good ourselves lest they be spitting and pissing on our tombstones.
Death makes us human. Reminds us to be human. And to embrace humanity.
If we think death is unjust and we wish it happens to others, it makes us inhuman.
Sooner or later, we will be making another eulogy for another lost colleague, another brother gone, another mother. Another friend. As for me, i'll try to live another tomorrow.
And show my love ones why life is a gift.

I'm 42 and I think Im not very far from it. I hope when it comes I am prepared. There are time when Im in my down moments when Id be begging for it. Thankfully, God knows I just want relief from the pain and holds me in life blessing me and taking care of me no matter how ungrateful and unappreciative I may be at times.

Why beg for it? Life must be a struggle nowadays but still i pray you find hope sometimes. Hope is the only thing that keeps us trying again.
