Your language is poetry itself. I love it. and I love poetry. I also love the classic poets. Jorge Manrique is the most incredible poet in Spanish language.

I periodically write poetry. I remember in high school I wrote a LOT of poetry. I had a lot of fun writing various poems. A girlfriend of mine and I put our heads together and wrote the following poem. Withered withered little rose, Crushed beneath people's toes, You used to smell so nice and sweet, Now you smell like sweaty feet. I went on to write more poems but can't remember them at the present time. I wanted to be a writer and may still pursue the quest. I took a lot of writing courses in high school and college, the instructors liked my writing and tried to encourage me to continue on with my dream. Reality and the need to eat put the goal on the back burner for many many years. Your country has wonderful poetry writers, I have read many poems from Brazil and enjoyed and loved them all.
