It took a while. Maybe fifteen years is too much time to break away from what you love and what you breathed all of your employed days. Yet to be honest with you, I wanted to go farming, so I did and disappeared from the online world.
Not that I hated it or did not have good money, but it was my childhood yearnings that kept creeping up behind me. whispering phrases that flashed to life a cherished memory. You know those moments when you laugh out loud and everyone turns and looks at you, and you just can't share it. They wouldn't understand anyway.
So, yes, those funny, familiar, forgotten days of my aunt's farm with the cows, the fruit trees, the fresh, clean air, and the rushing river. Just wouldn't leave me alone. So, I bought a farm and made a living in memory lane.
And still, they kept coming, inviting me back to the web land. I had all the excuses, lip-packed and tongue ready to fire. I'm too old, don't have a website, too far from the city. And they worked!
Until he came in April. He was from my childhood, tagged into modern land, and needed help. Writing help. How could I deny him?
And so I started again. This time from a farm. And you could never guess, today I finally went live with my own colorful website. Home again. Throw me a party will you?
