Kota Factory is a Reflection of Reality

The show makers have named it aptly - Kota Factory. Many like me used to know Kota as a centre of education, a mecca of coaching for aspirants aiming to get selected in medical colleges and IIT institutes. Thousands come here every year to find admission in the reputed coaching institutes, who have made a name in preparing boys and girls for the extremely competitive selection exams. The youth many still in their teens are made to pass through rigorous study schedule day after day. Their problems, struggles, emotions and all other related issues are deftly picturised in the black and white show Kota Factory. As a teacher and as a parent of a medical student I found the episodes to be a reflection of reality. The show also depicts how the coaching centres make huge business out of the desire to become doctors and engineers.

I can imagine the fierce competition among young students in Kota, there was a city called exam factory in our country, thousands of young students gather there for coaching, they aimed to university enterance exam.the coaching business is extremely hot, young students are tireless to study in that city for geting in a better university, likewise, competition is fierce and cruel.

I understand exactly what you say. Many students choose to go to China and other countries to study in medical universities as they fail to get admission in a government medical College here in India. Private colleges are far too expensive.

It's definitely a good show. Parents planning to send their children there must see it. And of course, it prepares the students for what they might face in Kota.

As long as the youth can benefit from it. I believe that they will do their best to become part of a coaching/trainig centers.

In fact, seats are much fewer than the aspirants. Thus, all those who go to Kota go there to benefit from the coaching.

@franxav yes, this is ridiculous. They pierce the plate on which they ate. They are only behind money. These people become rich but can't be trusted.
