In West Bengal everyone uses mustard oil for cooking. Also mustard oil is used to light diya and also apply on hair and skin. There are open plantations in the countryside where mustard is grown. It is a lovely sight to see the mustard in the plantations. It brings a lot of revenue.

I hadn't heard of mustard oil till now. They seem to make oil from a whole lot of different seeds.

@sathviksouvik We cook mostly with canola oil. I use them on myself but sometimes hand cream has oil in it. The one I'm using at the moment has emu oil in it.
