I'm Trying to Make Coffee Special

Normally I would drink 5 cups of coffee everyday. So now I am trying to not drink coffee for a while so I would miss it and when I do drink it it will be more satisfying. When I have craving for it, I drink water. It is very hard. I have not yet succeeded. But I will give it a try.
August is almost over. Ber months are fast approaching. I will not splurge on my burthday, Just maybe 2-3 dishes for family and also coworkers to share. I have a sinking fund for my birthday so that wouldnt be a problem. I am not interested on anything to buy for myself. Maybe some scented candles. I will also use the 15% birthday discount from Shopee.
Oh and also I know I will be getting $7 from myLot, my birthday is on Sept 17 so that is right about that time. That would make me happy.

About 3 years ago I lowered my coffee intake from 6 a day to just 2 a day. It took me 3 months to do so. I still take Turkish coffee in the morning but in the afternoon I make something more mild (cappuccino or macchiato). Juices and fruits helped me with cravings in the beginning. You got this! Give yourself time.

I'm drinking turmeric tea at the moment. Thank you for sharing your own personal journey with it. I ought to remind myself to get back up whenever I relapse.

Now I drink a third of the 3 in 1 sachet in a very small cup along with food in the morning. Then I try not to drink coffee the rest of the day. I have a cheat day though - on Sunday.

Good luck giving up coffee. I don't care for water. I would rather have diet pop; but there are so many bad sweeteners in them.

5 times a day? wow!, that's too much.
Girl you need to replace it with hot chocolate instead.
It tastes better than coffee and it has more health benefit than coffee.

I like Swiss Miss dark chocolate. I hope I remember when I get to the store. But that is expensive as well.

For me I try to balance my beverage I drink by alternating between coffee,tea and cocoa drink.

You mentioned you had 5 cups.. you can try to alternate coffee then tea after.. 3 cups of coffee and 2 cups of tea i guess for the 1st week until your body absorb the changes. Then follow up on 2cups of coffee then 3 cup of tea then so on. Hope that helps

That's very nice advice. I have some tea and for sure would ease craving for something hot. At the moment Im drinking turmeric with ginger tea.
