Wowsers. After my interview this morning on the phone, I was prepared to continue job searching again next week, when I got this in my email from the director of the preschool I interviewed with this morning. * * * * * * * Good Afternoon Stacey, It was so nice speaking with you today, and I am thrilled to say that we are moving forward with your application process. Before we are able to make any tentative job offers, we do need two past supervisor references. If you are able to provide me with their names, email addresses, and phone numbers, we will reach out to them as soon as possible. I hope you have an exceptional weekend! * * * * * * * I'm trying not to get too excited. I don't know, some super-exceptional person could apply and nudge me out or something, right? Or--something. I haven't been through an interview in a while, and certainly not one like this one (more than one person asking me questions and all). Oh, my goodness...
