I have love listening to 80s music genre ever since I was a child till today. When I was a kid, I'd come home from school and turned on the radio in my room loud and there was this one channel station in the radio that always play 80s music non stop that I would listen to almost everyday.
There is just something about the 80s music genre that seems to pulls me in just by listening to it's music. For me it is by far the versatile musical decade that appealed to everyone at any age till today.
My favorite 80s artist song varied from Bon Jovi,Michael Jackson,A-Ha,The bangles,Cyndi Lauper,Duran Duran and many many many more because the list would go on forever....that's how much I love them.
Do you love the 80s music like I do?
Do you have any favorite 80s song or artist in particular?

Though I belong to a different country and a different culture, it's just the same here. 70s and 80s were the golden era of music. I listen to those songs again and again everyday.

@sica98 It's the same with me. I call it a golden era in Indian music and they are just timeless. Generations have enjoyed them and they are still so good. They are not outdated.

That's many people's favorite era. I liked 90's the best because to me it was all of the genres of music combined. from 50's 60's 70's 80's Older adults may have not liked the outcome but was so youthful sounding.
For example this to me is the perfect band to explain that. This band is one that actually took time and went back and actually visited certain places and lead singer said he was not happy with the way their music was heading and needed to revisit why it was not satisfying him and made him realize and respect all that came before him so they put out this. Now that is a true musician there.

I've never heard of this band before .Thank you for sharing this youtube video with me.I'm all ears when someone is willing to share their liking for great music and discovery. All of those time combined together does make music better in some ways I guess.I can agree with you on that.

I remember being introduced to jazz in the 80s. My sisters had the love for it first.
