What About Ice?

I've got to finally admit it: I am an ice-a-holic! I drink a lot of water in a day, and I've got to have a full cup of ice that I then pour the water into. My husband will say, "Oh, I only want a little bit of ice in my cup, just enough to cool it." While I say, "Fill that thing with ice up to the top!"
I don't know if it's because I come from the Midwest, which can get pretty darned cold in the winter, or if it's because I want to feel like I'm in a part of the world that's frozen nearly all of the time. I only know that I just really like the feeling of the ice in my cup, if that makes any sense, LOL!
Also, I don't think I'd mind being in a walk-in refrigerator for most of the day, especially in the summer, as long as it was not cold enough to actually freeze me. As it is, I have a fan on me all during the summer AND during all of the other seasons, too! I can't seem to get enough of the cold!
Is there anyone else like me? Do you really like a lot of ice in your drinks? Or do you prefer a little ice or even no ice?

I guess I'm an ice-a-holic too. I always fill my cups with plenty of ice cubes to enjoy my drinks. It's funny but, I like my drinks cold but my weather warm. How's that for a contradiction

I don't like a lot of ice in my drinks. Especially when I buy them commercially. Too much ice and too little drink.
A friend of mine once told me that her doctor had advised her to eat ice when she was trying to lose weight. I thought that was a great idea. Oral gratification is a lot of times the reason people snack and eating ice is giving you that.

@gtdoss .......I haven't been to a restaurant in several years. I usually drink water with lemon slices.

You and I both. Being in Florida, we get our dose of hot weather. During the days I drink iced tea, I keep in a jug in the fridge and cold water, I just have to keep my two ice trays frozen because I need at least 2 to 3 ice cubes or more per drink,

Yes, I'm starting to see that not that many people like a ton of ice in their drinks!

I guess everybody is different. Some like a lot of ice, some like a little ice, some like medium ice, and some like no ice.

I was telling someone else on here that I order water at restaurants, they put a lot of ice in, and then I order many refills!

I used to drink soda pop on a glass with plenty of ice in the past. These days I drink soft drinks with a few ice added to the drink since it keeps me away from enjoying a cup of soda pop.
