I have read some posts about how the heat of summer is not leaving, and @RebeccasFarm wrote about cooling off while watching Christmas movies. So I decided to share one more poetic meme, which shows our garden in the dead of winter, all covered in snow. It was always the Snow Queen’s masterpiece, I thought, with all the branches so nicely covered with the show. If it wasn’t deeper, that snow reached up to Sid’s belly, and he would always come in with a frosty belly.

@CarolDM and I wish I could have a white Christmas for the memories and then return to Florida, but alas, that is not a possibility. Last year I was thinking if I had the money I would rent an artificial snow making machine but it never happened.

@JudyEv when the sun did not shine at all this is pretty much how all of winter looked in Latvia and believe me were we tired of it when spring arrived

Mother Nature did recently give me a hint of Fall weather which I thoroughly enjoyed. Sid's frosty belly is pretty cute to hear about.
I like to watch QVC when they have their "Christmas in July". All kinds of decor and gift ideas for Christmas.

This heavy Snow world looks so different.
My last novel "Arctic Event" had similar snow covered sub polar regions as the backdrop.
It was an action thriller novel.
But yes, one can imagine such a snow with romantic backdrop as well.
It is up to our imagination!

According to Farmer's Almanac, we will have significant shivers, and it will be slushy, icy, and snowy. I cannot wait.
