National Nutrition Week starts from Today!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
We all know the importance of Nutrition in our life but sometimes we forget to practice it by eating unhealthy junk food.
In India, the National Nutrition Week starts from today 1st September till 7th September in order to promote healthy organic food to intake for having healthy body.
There are many people in India who are malnourished because of the poverty. Then there are other section of people who eat lot and waste food which shouldn't happen.
There are few people who practice eating healthy nutritious food like Nuts, Green Leafy vegetables, Fruits, Whole Grains, Pulses etc.
Nowadays, in India too, the junk food or fast food culture has become quite prominent wherein people from all age groups enjoy it often as it's available at reasonable prices with lucrative offers.
People nowadays eat less home food and order more from outside especially on weekends and during festivals.
The Government is also promoting "To eat healthy and stay Fit" by announcing it as "Nutrition Week".
I feel we can't devoid our bodies from eating unhealthy stuff for long time and we shouldn't. Having said that everything eaten in portion control manner, occassionally and doing exercise along with it is very important.
Let's try to eat more home cooked food packed with essential nutrients in order to have good health. Have a good day!! Take care!!

I would agree to everything that you said. Well, for me it's a control of portion is very important. I make sure to eat a balanced diet, eating everything in moderation.
