Have you ever heard of brookies?

Most people have heard of cronuts a cookie and donut combined. They are delicious by the way, I recommend them if you ever get a chance to have one. Anyway, I went to Charlottesville today, and before I went, I checked Trader Joes out on the Flipp app as I like to go when I go there. One thing they were advertising were brookies, which was supposed to be a combination brownie and cookie. I had to try them. Actually it reminds me of a 7 layer cookie or something like that, but not as sweet. They are OK, but not as good as cronuts.

@kaylachan Different, I would eat another one if homemade, the store bought ones aren't fantastic, but that is the same with most cookies.

They are not very well known, but they do exist in the real world.

I've heard of both cronuts and brookies but haven't had the pleasure of trying either of them. I probably would prefer a cronut over a brookie

@Marilynda1225 I am sure some bakeries have them, and Dunkin has them sometimes too.

They are a real thing with some recipes online. I think I prefer layer cookies.

I tried them twice now. Once my daughter in law made them, a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough then a layer of brownie batter. OK is a good description for them. I think I love brownies to just be brownies, and cookies to be cookies, but hey, that's just me.

I think homemade ones would be better.
