I used to go for a walk over there for years and years.
It was so peaceful and lovely.
Unfortunately, I can't go anymore because of health problems.
Oh, I so miss those almost daily walks.
To be young and healthy again would be wonderful.
Now, I just have memories of those times, but I am glad that at least I got to do it then.
Do you have a favorites place where you walk?

That looks like a lovely place to walk.
My favorite place to walk was in the little rural village that we used to live in.
I remember when they put the walkway in. They made the cement wider then most sidewalks because they wanted to allow space for people to meet and pass each other without anyone having to step into the grass. It also allowed for those on rollerblades, they take wider strides then a walker does.
Since we moved from there it is no longer close to enjoy the walkway.

I bet looks peaceful and pretty. California does not have places like that unless want to fall off a cliff. Missouri kind of did but then you get drown by a creek at best. haha. I will stick to your path, but whats cool about unexplored places is kind of safe and kind of not but so pretty and made you live.

Why is it that sometimes we cannot do the things we love anymore?
Sure I know it is health problems, but I have to sometimes ask why.
I know you miss it Marlina as I do at times when I cant walk.
That is a beautiful place there!!
If I were near you, Id get a chair for you and take you to walk.

I know what you mean. We have a lovely green belt here that runs down by the river. I used to ride my mountain bike along it and it was sure nice. But, due to health issues, I no longer go either. I feel your pain.

For me it isn't the walking it's the driving. I used to take off to Ruidoso NM every now and then or else go to White Sands Memorial Park, both of which are quite a ways away, but anymore I'd rather stay home and let my fingers do the walking ....... you're right though, at least I have the memories

I can relate, I love going on long hikes on somewhat rough terrain, but now I can't and I can no longer do the dancing I use to do. It's disappointing, but I find other means of exercise. May I ask, what your health issues are that prevents you from going on walks?

Nope anymore. Our place has bern developed. No more peaceful place or orchard to leisurely stroll.
Now I used to walk along the city streets early in the morning and even late in the afternoon.

Weather permitting, I just walk around the hood..(neighborhood.) It won't be long now, and I will be able to do it. It has to be less humid than it is now though.

I never was much of a walker except when I was in my teens and twenties...used to walk to school, to the library where I worked, to the mall...but I used to enjoy cooking and baking so much. Now I can't do that. I totally understand your desire to be young and healthy again. Getting old sucks!
