Meals - 9/4/22

We've been just hanging out over this long Labor Day weekend. What are those of you in the US and Canada doing for this holiday weekend? Got a hold of the nurse since the pharmacy only had one of hubby's prescriptions. She sent the order again; and hopefully he will be able to get the meds today or tomorrow.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Leftovers - Chicken parm, cavatelli, salad and bread
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - None
What did you eat yesterday?

Hope your husband gets the meds soon. I had Filet-O-Fish sandwiches from McDonalds for lunch today.

So far holding out that this weekend is all mine. Hoping to get some yard work done today as it has been raining for the past two days cinching my plans. Fingers crossed.
As for dinner I went easy and just whipped up some scrambled eggs. Tossed in some leftover ribeye steak, onions, green peppers and shredded cheese. Then just put the egg mixture on burritos with some sour cream and salsa. Voila! Dinner was served.
Cooked up some fried potatoes on the side.

I usually skip meals because I'm either going to have a big meal or I've already had a big meal. I have plenty of excess to keep me going! The meds should be ready today.

Hopefully his meds come soon.
We have been lying low this long weekend, this morning we are heading out to our son's place to spend some time with the babies. Grandpa hasn't seen them in 2 weeks, and they grow and change so much in such a short period of time.
