Tried a new combination today

The normal tastes are sweet. salty, sour and spicy but then I though if pineapple and pineapple syrup can be ingredients in the Chinese dish sweet and sour pork why not try out an odd combination and see how it tastes.
This morning I had that kind of breakfast. I applied date syrup on bread slices with a touch of tomato ketch up. I found the taste quite good.
Have you tried out any odd combinations?

@JudyEv I saw my niece pouring chicken curry on a sweet snack I had made, when she was here long ago. She thought I was not looking. I tried it too and wow!! what a taste!
