Jesus felt no need to impress anyone

I always like to reflect on something new that I learn and try to adapt it to my lifestyle. I heard a sermon on youtube yesterday and I was thinking about the truth of these words. The preacher talked about Jesus. She said that Jesus never got attached to material goods because he knew that it was a passing vanity. She also said that He didn't care what people thought of Him. Jesus felt no need to impress anyone. And in that she said that the more stuff you acquire, the more responsibility and stress comes with it. We are always trying to impress others and that creates a huge amount of frustration. Love and wisdom make people very powerful.

He certainly impressed a lot. But he didn't feel that need because he knew who He was. And in this aspect his humility of heart is visible. Even though he was the son of God, he never despised anyone. And we human beings do this constantly with our fellow human beings.

@Aiana18 Yes we are flawed humans, but Jesus is the son of God and sits at His right hand and is in perfection.
