Cow that has her head stuck on a tree rescued by firefighters / myLot

A cow rescued by firefighters in Hampshire U K on Friday.

Thanks to the efforts of the firefighters of the Hampshire and Isle Of Wight Fire and Rescue in the United Kingdom, they were able to rescue a cow who had the bad luck of getting her head stuck in a tree on Friday afternoon. How the cow had her head stuck in the fork in the tree is not known at this time but my belief is that the cow must have seen something that attracted her attention which cause her to get her head stuck which if the actions of the firefighters with the assistance of animal rescue advisor who cut around the tree to get the cow out of trouble. The good news that comes from the village of Chilbolton in Hampshire in the United Kingdom is that the cow was not harmed in the incident.

I've heard before of horses and cows getting their heads stuck in the forks of trees. I'm glad she was rescued.

It makes you wonder how a cow could get her head caught in a tree. But things happen. Good they could get her loose.

I am sure that the cow was in pursuit of another animal when the cow was trapped in the tree.

@Deepizzaguy When I was a teenager I lived on a little farm with my Dad and a couple of my brothers. I liked to walk at night. One night I headed out toward the barn. It was very dark out. I suddenly realized that if I did not head to the left I would be stepping on a sleeping beef cow! The cows were pretty tame but I'm sure they would have not liked it if I had stepped on one of them.

Firefighters in my opinion do not get enough love from the media over the good deeds they do for others.

Lucky for that cow that the firefighters came along for the rescue. I'm sure that this rescue was not something that they learned in firefighting 101.
