This morning, I placed two eggs in a rice cooker to save time. My class starts at 7:30 today and ends 4:30 so I included 2 eggs while cooking rice. I placed the eggs the time rice boiled. I checked the time exactly 10 minutes before it turned off. I'm wondering why the egg bursts when it was not overcooked. I learned from some lotters here 12 minutes duration. But look at the egg yolk it came out Thanks for reading, sharing is caring. I'll be back here in the evening. Keep safe the virus is just lurking in a corner. Image shown here the egg I coked this morning at 6.

The poor egg didn't want to be next to disgusting rice while it was cooking. I don't blame it one bit.

@sol_cee Not as such, no. I make a lot of foods that include eggs but nothing with just eggs.

You cannot steam eggs, I am not surprised that they exploded, even if you place the eggs in a microwave they explode.

@cacay1 You always have to place the eggs in water to boil them and they need to be fully covered with water.

No matter how you cook them a few of them will do that. Even boiled in water it can happen

Looks like you didn’t take the egg out of the shell before you put it in the rice.

@RubyHawk, yes, Ruby, I didn't, or else it would spread on rice.

Eggs really burst even if you boil it. They said eggs are not fresh if it burst.

@magallon, we're far from a poultry farm. How do we know the expiry date of the eggs. There's none written there m

@cacay1 i am not sure too. But everytime we buy eggs from the supermarket we always check the expiry date. Sometimes it is best to buy directly from the poultry farm.

@RasmaSandra, I made it one time. I was in a hurry. I have a class at 7:30, but at 6:45, I have to open my laptop and Wi-Fi for students' attendance. We are on online classes for the first year and second year of college, the rest of the levels, face to face.

That's also my concern if I cannot have a perfectly boiled egg. I prefer cooking in water. If the eggs are. dancing already it's cooked lol.
