Okay, Now Let's Not Do THAT Gator

If y'all have been following me, my wife and I went to look at campers over the weekend at Camping World on Saturday. Our salesman was Gator. A nice guy, helpful and informative, if not a bit more high pressure than I prefer. Nonetheless, we got all the information gathered we needed, he has a good idea what we are looking for and agreed he could keep me posted if something hits his lot that may be of interest to me. He called this morning about 10 minutes ago. I am good with text and email, and maybe an occasional phone call each month to check in and see where we are at with our decision. But three days later? I'd have preferred a text with some pictures and other information, or even an email over that. It just says to me that I may get more of these in the coming weeks—and I am not sure I am up for being pressured quite that much to buy something. Keep me posted and I will let you know when I am ready, Gator. You have my business right now, but if you become a pest, I may decide to go somewhere else.

No. Not sure what his real name is honestly. He's from Panama City, Florida and that is probably where it came from.

Being a salesman myself, I am keeping Gator well grounded. Not sure if he realizes I am in sales yet. But I think he will catch on soon enough. lol

I have heard A LOT of very negative things about Camping World and their almost criminal activities. Just sayin’…review the company’s history very thoroughly. I am always skeptical of one bad review…but thousands AND a website devoted to people who were scammed by one company would send me running in the other direction.
