I just wanted to say how sad I am at hearing about the death of Queen Elizabeth II. I post the candle for all of you who are mourning her passing. One thing that should always be remembered is that she lived a long fruitful life and although I know little about the politics of the UK I do know that many citizens of the UK were very fond of her.

Same here but I know how much she meant to the people of Britain, Australia and Canada .... I'm not sure how many other countries as well.

It is my understanding that Camella is not to become a Queen, just his consort, not that I fully understand what that means. But does her standing as consort mean that she will not be on any kind of public coins or other such things?

@rebelann I don't like his actions from what I have seen over the years, and I have not seen him as King as of yet, so I am undecided. It Camella that I dislike. They had better not put her image on any of our currency or coins.

Even though I've known about the Queen all my life, only in recent years I've gotten to know about her life through the many shows/docu's that have come out. Life as the Queen was not easy but oh what an amazing life she had. May she rest in peace.

Yes, she did have an amazing life but she had to put her family 2nd as being Queen meant that had to come first. Have you seen The Crown? It's really good. It gave me a clear picture of what the ultimate celebrity star had to go through, she never had a moment of real privacy other than a few moments in the privacy of her bedroom. I sure as heck couldn't have pulled off what she did.

Unlike many politicians in the U.S., she did not air her opinions about politics and political figures publicly. Our leaders and social media platforms could take a huge page out of that book! Classy lady till the end
