The red sunset was the result of smoke due to the bush fires going on throughout the state of Victoria.
I didn't use any filters on this one.
It was one of the most frightening times of our lives. We were packed up ready to evacuate our home. But thank God we never did have to run.

Thank you, @CarolDM Our friends (family of 9 children) lost their home . The fire engulfed their house and property and the surrounding district.

@CarolDM Many charity organizations and individuals all over Australia helped generously Black Friday victims and families got back on their feet and lives. Another mutual friends offered their family empty house to live in while their burnt house got rebuilt.

We see skies like that when California starts burning, too. The smoke travels across the entire US to give us in Missouri skies like that... and causes my allergies to kick in really bad, too.
I'm glad the fires missed your home and you didn't have to evacuate.

@DaddyEvil The smoke triggers your allergies. So sorry about that.
Thank you, DE.

@everwonderwhy Thanks. Pretty and I are both having more allergic reactions lately. I was just told there are fires along the West Coast again.
You're very welcome.

Bush fires are very dangerous. What caused fires in your place? How long dud the bush fires under control?
