Todays trip to the big Tesco.

We went to the big Tesco again today. Mum was reluctant to go because she was watching the coffin of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as it started to make its way from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall. But I said, Mum, we can't watch everything, and they'll probably show it you again on the news anyway. So off we went. My weather app said no chance of rain again so I went without a coat.
First thing that happened was that my prawn layered salad was out of stock! I got a tuna and pasta salad instead. We got some flowers this week.
Then the salted chocolate and caramel sundae that I like to have for my pudding on Sundays was also out of stock! And the tofu nuggets I started getting were also out of stock. And, to add insult to injury, they'd moved my mini yoghurts aswell! I found them eventually, opposite the milk.
I managed to get some vegan magnum ice lollies. They had more of a selection in the big Tesco so I got some almond flavoured ones, which have 6 in a pack instead of just 3 so if I have those every night I'll have enough until Tuesday when hopefully I'll be able to get some more from the little Tesco. (I've already had one tonight.)
I also got my frozen onion so that was good. Mum got her stuff and she got a few things for my step-dad too.
With club card it came to around £91. We sat on a bench and I drank some water then I exchanged my book at the Tesco book swap.
When I got home I unpacked the groceries, had my dinner, washed up, put my fish out to thaw for tomorrow and put the new flowers out. Then I watched EastEnders and went to bed. (EastEnders was on later than usual today because of all the coverage of the Queens coffin.)
My Mum told me that King Charles III is visiting Wales on Friday and I wanted to watch that so I'm going shopping tomorrow instead of Friday.

I don't know, it doesn't say. I know there are almonds in it. There are actual pieces of almond in the outer chocolate coating of the almond flavoured magnum ice lollies.
I know, I saw some of the procession on YouTube aswell but I didn't stay watching for long.

Unfortunately there are shortages of products all over the world. In the US it is because there is a shortage of workers and drivers. We still haven't figured out why these people don't want to work.

You had an almost good shopping trip with your Mom. Hope they'll have your favorites in next shopping. When I went shopping, I forgotten my brown gravy packets!

Yes, I know what you mean, throughout time, things I liked got discontinued. My brown gravy packets, hadn't time to get them, yet.

Yes, it was almost good! I don't know wether they've actually stopped stocking the little puddings that I like. They stopped stocking the sea weed thins that I used to like and I'm very disappointed about that.

Thank you very much. I enjoyed my vegan magnum ice lollies but I'm not having any more now because it's getting cooler so I'll have some of my grain coffee at night instead.

@sharonelton That's interesting, glad it cured your arthritis! You don't appreciate just how special and important it is just to be able to do ordinary things, until you suddenly find you can't do them!

Yes, there are.
Vegan magnums are very nice. I'm not vegan. I'm macrobiotic. It's like vegan but different. Most of the time I don't eat meat. The exception is the chicken and bacon pasta bake which I only usually get because I can't get anything else. But I do eat fish. You are also allowed a treat now and then. I only eat whole foods, for example I eat brown rice not white rice, wholemeal bread not white bread, wholemeal flour etc.
I stopped using dairy products and when I did my arthritis went away. I use soy milk and soy yogurts instead.

@Fleura Thank you very much. Yes, I remember a day when I could hardly walk up the street to go to Church because my knees hurt so badly. I used to put glucosamine gel on my knees three or four times a day and that helped but since I've been on the macrobiotic diet I haven't even had to do that.
