Happy First Time Homeowners!

After nearly 3 months, we finally closed on our first home! I can’t wait to move into this wonderful old house.
It was built in 1870, has 10+ acres of land. The seller had renovated the inside of the house. It is beautiful.
There is still a lot of packing to do. We moved a carload of boxes to the new home tonight. This weekend we will move the furniture, food, clothing, kitchenware, bathroom items, and a few other things.
Thankfully I have next week to finish things up. Little Miss will be at school during the day so I will be able to work without having her underfoot ??
Our realtor is a gem. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She found a lender who was willing to work with us. We were ready to toss in he towel but she encouraged us to be patient. Glad we listened to her.

Oh my I am so happy for you Elusive..as it happens I am also moving Monday into a new place remodeled.
But a house is a real blessing..really this is so great news Elusive..you deserve this!!
And 10 acres as well..I hope we will get to see pics

@sallypup a plain old color just doesn't pop. We have a few places in town that are lavender or purple. It is my favorite color but I wouldn't want to paint my home that color. Maybe a room or two!

@ElusiveButterfly I day dream about the color I'd like to have my house painted sometimes. It's current white with gray trim doesn't zing enough for me.

@DianneN my husband wants to clear a spot to build another home. It would be one level with 3 bedrooms. He would sell this property and house. Great plan, hopefully it works out!

Looks to be quite large, with the additions. And it's blue, BLUE, so BLUE! (I like blue, so much nicer than this blah beige mine is.)
But it needs a porch! (Mine does, too.)
