Sharing Two Black Swallowtails

Went out to the garden just now with my iPhone in hand. Many butterflies have been visiting lately. Along with the hummingbirds of course. Snapped a few photos and didn't realize I had two black Swallowtails in one phone until I got inside. So excited to see this on the white butterfly bush. Both bushes are still blooming, along with the roses. The warm weather is keeping the blooms around and the winged visitors. Made my day to see these two special butterflies in my photo. Now the football game has started. Will finish the day off hopefully with a good game. Laundry is all done. A few other projects as well. Hope your day has been a good one. Photo is mine.

Its a pretty picture, the dark butterflies on the light coloured blooms. I've had a busy day running here and running there, glad that we are on the downside of the day. Tomorrow being Sunday, its Family Day, so we will be having them over.

@RubyHawk They are white and sometimes yellow. There are also sulphur butterflies here and they are yellow.

Yes I do see tiny cabbage butterflies and many others as well. They are all over the bushes now.

I have not seen many of the larger butterflies this year. Of course I have not been outside very much but have been involved with hospital visits, etc. I do have some smaller varieties, like admirals and buckeyes, and the teeny tiny purple butterflies. You are blessed, have a great day.

I would be amazed nothing even close to like that here, we happy if we hear a cricket every once in a while. Speaking of which, Came out the other night and whole place was roaring with them.Wonder what that was about and then back to the nothing other than cars and the concrete jungle.
