My First Day on a Big Deal

After a long 3-year break from the web, I decided to go freelancing. Been about three months since I started again. I decided to to do it with no investment except for my Internet connection and my time. I started with a free email and offered my services through job sites, built a forum presence, and stayed far from social sites. Within a month I was able to buy my own domain, buy a one-year hosting package, and started some paid ads. Last week I started my daily blogging, and today I landed a huge contract. Now I can move out to social sites and start expanding my blog reputation. I must personally thank you guys here for your continued support. Keep up the great job.

I've been sorta blogging (on a free site that doesn't "pay" but gives you lots of 'room to be creative') for a few years; and I'm staying on the "free"-path, which means skipping all that 'job site, forum presence'-stuff & going straight to social ... mainly Twitter, as shown by my use of 'hashtagged words' (like #this, but only one or two words like that per blog-post) and special-notice on @names of any webmasters whose content I link-to. And on your Twitter, use/view the hashtags #WritingCommunity & #WritersLift to interact with Writers on Twitter.

thanks for the tip, with a few years that must be a lot of followers.

@Viastra only a few-thousand, because I'm not very singular in my focus (it changes often)
