Samantha Weis who is an elementary school teacher in Holmen Wisconsin was at the right place at the right place at the right time on Friday at Viking Elementary when her student Bryson Moe was eating almonds when he began to choke on his food. Samantha who was inside the classroom at the time of the incident used her training in first aid techniques to use the Heimlich maneuver to remove the almond from his mouth. I am sure that Bryson is grateful that Samantha was there to save his life inside of the classroom since Samantha cares for all of her students like they were her own children.

How lucky the teacher knew what to do to save the child’s life. I’m sure the child and her parents are grateful.

I am really sure that Bryson's parents are very appreciative of the work that Samantha did to use the Heimlich maneuver to save their son from choking on the almonds.

Almonds sometimes stick in my throat for some reason although they don't make me choke.

I guess the size of the throat on Bryson was not huge enough to prevent him from choking.

There are times that children do not chew properly their food maybe because they are in a hurry or they just feel lazy of chewing it. It is good that there is teacher who immediately responded to the situation.

In my case it is that I am either in a hurry to eat my meal or I bite off more than I chew. I am with you that Samantha was in the right place at the right time inside of the classroom.
