The Bottom of your Feet Are Disgusting

My wife noted the bottoms of my feet are horridly blackened. Hey, during the summer time I like to walk around the house barefoot. You know, air out my tootsies a bit and let the toes stretch out a bit.
What can I say?
But of course I had a retort. Well, you can bet I did and how. I told her the only reason my feet are dirty is because the floors are dirty and if she did a better job keeping the floors clean, my feet would be clean too.
I think I won the argument. Well, at first that's what I thought.
Folks, I may be absent from myLot for a little while. I am currently in traction. But hey, my wife is with me—they have to surgically remove her foot from my ass. They are just waiting for the wounds from the broom she used on me to heal before they get to that.
I don't dare tell her I will get her a new broom so she can sweep the floors when she gets home.

The age old argument. I walk around barefoot, too. My husband refuses because he says the floor is to cold.

@porwest I walk barefoot at home year-round. I grew up with tile, so it's not a big deal for me.

@kaylachan During winter time I have to have socks on my feet. But of course, in Florida that might be different for me.

Why don't you use the vacuum cleaner that would keep the flour spotlessly clean.

@RebeccasFarm I guess in a way I could make an argument that by walking on the floors I am actually kind of cleaning them. lol

Inside the house, I always walk around barefoot. But I almost never will go outside without some sort of footwear on. Being that this is Florida, said footwear mostly consists of flip-flops and sandals.

@porwest I guess it’s a totally different mindset for me, having grown up on and near the beaches of Florida, where everyone walks around barefooted. I wear shoes as little as possible.

I hate walking around barefoot. Or even when I have socks on. I gotta have slippers on. Or actual shoes. Never know how clean someone's house floor is. And mine is usually not.

@porwest it’s frustrating for me when I go to someone’s house and I gotta take my shoes off but they have no slippers to offer me. I guess I can always take my own slippers with me but sometimes I forget.

I used to walk bare foot around my house too but never bothered to check my bottoms.

I go barefoot, hubby does not, but my feet are not too bad. Except when I find a tiny sliver of glass with one of them.

Oh, my! Pretty and I both go barefoot in the house all year round... Our feet look clean. Even if they didn't, Pretty cleans the floors and I value my hide so wouldn't think of saying something like that to her.

I'm with you on the whole barefoot thing. I'm always barefoot unless I have to go somewhere and have to wear real shoes. Hope you recover quickly from your injuries

I wear flip flops 365. I like to let me feet breathe too.
