It actually rained in the Bay Area yesterday!

It wasn't a deluge, but I'd bet we got the better part of an inch. I can't remember the last time it rained here.
I heard the unmistakable sound of water in the gutters when I woke yesterday and just lay in bed and enjoyed it.
I have to get some new snow pea seeds for my Fall planting. I'll bring some to the preschool as well.
I'll talk later about my interesting conversation yesterday with my new drug dealer. He has been here (from India) for only three months and is experiencing his first "cycle of the seasons" here in the US.
Anyway, how is the weather where you live?

I'm glad you got some rain. It's going to be 89 and THEN it will be in the 60s on Thursday. Our first taste of fall.

We're still experiencing temps in the 90s here. The overnight temps will drop into the 50s later this week, though. Still bright and sunny.

@TheHorse Let's hope you don't get the deluge next time. Just gentle, all day rain would be best for your area.

All that rain that the rest of Europe really wants, we're still getting it. The wettest summer in 40 years, then some really nice autumn weeks in august/september. However, the rain decided we couldn't risk that the wet areas dried up (it's been wet since March) so we got some days of torrential rain and flooded rivers before we're back to just normal cloudy with a bit of a drizzle.
At the moment, I wake up when it doesn't rain, 'cause that's rather unusual. Today doesn't look too bad. Cloudy, getting cold, but not wet.
Yet.

@TheHorse North and west of Dovre (Mountains in the middle of Norway) it has been really wet. I was thinking I can't remember it being this bad ever, and then it turns out I was right, because it has been the wettest summer in 40 years and I don't remember the summers when I was a small child that clearly.
The UK has been really dry. The few dry summers we've had have been really wet there, which makes sense. The winds often take the clouds across the North Sea.
But it has been so wet we must have been getting the rain from the rest of Europe too. I think Pakistan (poor guys, they've really had too much) and Australia have been getting rain from the rest of the world.
Have you had some more drizzle? Drizzle is good. Drizzle I could cope with too.

The weather is fine. It's a bright sunny morning but we're not sure of the afternoon weather. For every afternoon, it is raining.

We have the late Monsoon rains here since Thursday. No sunshine. Clothes taking longer to dry here.
Plus outside movement is also restricted.
A mix of pleasantness but well some inconvenience.
But well, at least there are the rains to enjoy.

We got your rain down here in Atascadero CA. I woke up at 3 a.m. and heard a strange noise outside. I got up and checked and surprise it was rain. It's still raining at 8 a.m. I'm not used to hearing rain in the gutters, and certainly not here in the apartment. I've only been here almost a year. My only complaint is that it's a cold rain.
The one thing I won't miss is cutting the weeds that grow from the rains. I would have to cut the weeds in the back yard and down the hill to our house. It was an all-day job, and miserable because the hill to our yard was really steep. But it had to be done because of fire danger. Then it wasn't the weeds that claimed my home, it was PG&e.
Well, I'm going to hobble off and get a few things done. I still need to do some cleaning for inspection, and I want to get the paperwork ready to mail off to the attorney. Plant some snow peas for me, I don't have a yard to plant in.
