Questioning My Salvation

There's all this talk about 'being saved (rescued from sin & hellfire, being made whole & healthy) if you believe that Lord Jesus Christ died for you.' And I see how validating it is to believe that--no matter what you do--'the conqueror of the world' thinks it's worth going-to-The-Cross so that you don't feel guilty about it (I don't know if that logically makes sense---'self-sacrifice in my name' equal to 'zero guilt' ... but there it is ) But I feel that there has to be 'a transaction' made---a firm declaration that I am forgiven. And the closest one I can think of is when--on The Cross--Jesus said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing." Sure, even Lord Jesus said that 'all who Believe on Him are saved' https://godsbreath.net/2015/12/14/what-did-jesus-say-about-salvation/ ... But what if you know EXACTLY what you're doing?
