A Vegetarian Breakfast is a Treat

To start with I will say that I am not a vegetarian and do eat meat and eggs but there are many a time when I enjoy a vegetarian breakfast. Well friends I had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast at the top eatery and I put the plate on the chair and took a photo as well. The meal consists of puris which are made of wheat atta and molded into a dough and fried along with a mixed vegetable curry. Also added is a traditional south Indian dish called Upma and a sweet called the Gulab Jamun to go along. This breakfast is wonderful and it can be made delicious if it is properly made. One can have a cup of coffee or tea at the end of the meal. This is a breakfast that is pretty filling and my choice. I have tried various combinations of vegetarian breakfast with a mix of north Indian and south Indian dishes and that is the beauty of good food. Above all it's healthy as well.

It is more like lunch to me. If I had such a hearty meal for breakfast I would definitely skip lunch. Great food no doubt though.

Jessica, upma is a dish made from Rava or cream of wheat. This dish involves cooking roasted rava in water that has been flavored with ghee (or oil), cashews, urad dal (lentils), chana dal (husked chickpeas), onion, ginger, and additional herbs and spices.

@madan02 I did. The only problem is that good Indian restaurants are very expensive in my country as there is not a very big amount of Indian people living there.
