Do you have a favorite ‘house shirt’?

Because mine is this very old University of the Philippines t-shirt given to me by a friend who was a student there. UP is like one of the most prestigious schools here and I remember wearing that t-shirt feeling prestigious myself. Lol As time passed by, it developed some holes and in the armpit area and the maroon color faded. Yet, it’s still my go to shirt after a long day of hustling outside. My mom used to tell me if I didn’t have any shirt at all because I look like a homeless person. Then I saw this photo.

@sol_cee I still wore those clothes out in public. They kept trying to tell me we could afford better clothes. I didn't and still don't see a reason to waste money on clothes I don't need.

I have a pink maxi dress that I wear at home which is very comfortable and a pink T-shirt that I am wearing now which is very comfortable.

I have a lot of that in my closet. A favorite shirt is something that is comfortable even though it is a bit worn out but you still prefer to wear them when you need to go outside. Good thing that my wife does not mind about it since she got used to it already.
I think she will mind if we would go to attend a party where I need to dress up but when we go to grocery or get to go somewhere she doesn't mind at all.

@sol_cee It's probably just common sense; if the dress is still wearable and comfortable, why change it? Unless there is a reason to do that, I don't think the looks would mind. It may have something to do with how our minds are wired, in my opinion. We were biologically designed to be hunters, so when you go hunting, you don't dress up; instead, you wear comfortably so it won't get in the way.
The way you look is irrelevant when you're doing that.

I don't have a favorite shirt, but usually when I am home I just change into a t-shirt. I have a lot of t-shirts, so I usually just grab whatever the first thing I see.

@sol_cee I know this may sound surprising, but I only have a couple of Disney t-shirts!

The right idea is after a long day at work to come home and put on whatever makes you comfortable.

That meme is so funny! I have a couple of shirts that are very soft and comfy. I hate to see them wear out.

I sure do! In summer, it's flip flops shorts and t-shirt. In winter, sweatpants and a flannel shirt.
It's hard to retire those comfortable clothes. I've got stuff decades old

I have several ‘homeless’ shirts and wear them all the time at home.

I always wear comfortable clothes, regardless how I look, at home.

Sure we all have clothes we wear at home that we wouldn't wear in public.
