I got a voice mail from the director of the Coast Guard Daycare to ask me when I wanted to make an appointment to get my fingerprints done.
I called her back, and she said that they do the fingerprints on base, right at the entry, and told me the man's name who did it. She said I could also get them done today, but the man she told me about wasn't there, and wouldn't be until Monday. Somone else was evidently doing it today.
I thought I should get it done with the main person to do it, so I opted for Monday. She gave me the main man's number, and on Monday I'll call him to get an appointment.
Soon this will be over, and I can actually work.

When I volunteered at the policing centre, we would fingerprint kids. Unfortunately, too many of the volunteers used too much ink and the resulting prints were just useless blobs. Good on you to wait for the "main" person who (hopefully) knows how to do it correctly.
