Back in August, I had my yearly health and wellness checkup. I also had some blood drawn for the usual allotted Medicare bloodwork. The doctor's office and I wound up playing phone tag for a few weeks after they got the results. They finally caught up with me to let me know about the results and that the doctor would like for me to go back so that they could have a little bit more bloodwork done and possibly me needing to see a hematologist.
Today, I had an appointment with the doctor so that she and I could discuss the results of the bloodwork and a few other issues that I was also having. Turns out that the levels of the second bloodwork has resolved and the doctor said that she felt that I wouldn't need to see a hematologist at this time. (I had told her that I had quit smoking 9 days ago and she let me know that it was a good decision). But, my LDL (bad cholesterol) level was high. I now have an appointment with a registered nurse there so that we can go over the dietary/nutrition part of cholesterol control and maintenance.
The doctor and I talked about a few more things the the bloodwork was the main topic of the day. She told me that she would like to see me again in 3 months for a follow up and then have more bloodwork done in February/March.

It's not real bad but then it's not real great either. We'll be working on stuff so that it won't be as bad.
