Elk that was trapped on a fence released by wildlife officials

Colorado wildlife officials near Estes Park 11 days ago answered an emergency call from motorists who saw an elk who had his antlers trapped . The Colorado wildlife officials used a tranquilizer gun to put the elk to sleep so that the elk would not feel any pain when the officials would have moved the elk from the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 36 while the Estes Park Police would assist the wildlife officials to deal with the traffic jam. When the 30 foot fence was removed from the antlers of the elk, the elk did come to his senses and the elk was free to roam in his home in the woods the same day. The elk does not have any serious injuries after the incident with the elk having the antlers removed from his head. How did the elk have his antler tangled with the 30 foot fence is not known.
